CANCELLATION POLICY & LIABILITY POLICY

1) General Policy

Scope

 This cancellation policy applies to all booked activities offered by Snow Adventures, including but not limited to Snowmobile Sled Tours, Snow Tubing, MoonBike Tours, and SnowKart Tours.

2) Cancellations by Guests

• A full refund (minus any booking/processing fees) will be issued if you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled start time of your activity.
• If you cancel between 7 days and 24 hours before the start of operations on the day of booking, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking amount.
• If you cancel within 24 hours of the start of operations on the day of booking, or if you do not show up (“no-show”), you will be charged 100% of the booking amount (no refund).

3) Cancellations by Snow Adventures

• Snow Adventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an activity due to adverse weather, unsafe snow or trail conditions, mechanical issues, or for other operational reasons.
• If we cancel the activity, you will be offered either:

• If we need to reschedule and you cannot attend the alternative time, you may choose a full refund.

4) Late Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of operations on the day of booking will incur a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
• No-shows are non-refundable.

5) Weather & Resort Conditions

• Snow Adventure activities operate in most weather conditions. However, if the resort determines that weather or mountain conditions are unsafe, the activity may be canceled or rescheduled.
• If an activity is canceled by the resort due to weather or operational issues, guests may receive a full refund.
• In case of weather-related cancellations, all refunds must be done at the Snow Adventure counter before leaving the resort. 
• Refunds will not be offered after the guest departs the resort.

6) Medical or Emergency Exceptions

• In the event of illness or injury, refunds or rescheduling may be considered upon submission of valid documentation (e.g., a medical certificate).
• Requests must be made within 7 days of the missed activity.

7) How to Cancel or Modify a Booking

• To cancel or modify your booking, please use the “Manage My Booking” link in your confirmation email.

Snow Adventure Injury and Liability Policy

1. Assumption of Risk

By clicking “Accept,” I, the participant or the payee for the group participating, acknowledge and agree on behalf of the entire group that participation in snow-related activities (including but not limited to Snowmobile Sled Tour, MoonBike Tour, SnowKart Tour, and Snow Tubing or any other winter activities performed at GALA Yuzawa Ski Resort) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, exposure to cold weather, altitude sickness, equipment malfunction, and natural hazards such as ice, rocks, or trees.

I voluntarily assume all risks on behalf of myself and both known and unknown risks associated with these activities. I do this on behalf of myself, the participant, and any other members in my group.

2. Release of Liability

By clicking “Accept,” to the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the operator, its owners, employees, guides, agents, and affiliates (“the Operator”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, injury, disability, or death that may occur as a result of my participation in these activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. I do this on behalf of myself, the participant, and any other members in my group.

3. Medical Treatment

I authorize the Operator to provide or obtain emergency medical treatment as deemed necessary, and I agree to be responsible for any medical costs incurred. I do this on behalf of myself, the participant, and any other members in my group.

4. Equipment and Safety

I agree to use all provided or rented equipment responsibly and to follow all instructions and safety guidelines given by the Operator or its representatives. I acknowledge that failure to follow safety instructions may increase my risk of injury. I do this on behalf of myself, the participant, and any other members in my group.

5. Personal Responsibility

I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in snow adventure activities. I agree that by clicking “Accept,” I confirm my fitness and capability to participate. I do this on behalf of myself, the participant, and any other members in my group.

6. Minors

If the participant in my group or the group that I am paying for is under 18 years of age, by clicking “Accept,” I acknowledge that I am either the parent or legal guardian of the participant and that I agree to the above terms on behalf of the minor participant.

I also acknowledge that participants signed up for the MoonBike Tours are at least 16 years old age. I also acknowledge that Participants signed up for the SnowKart are at least 12 years of age. The parent or legal guardian, not “The Operator,” are responible for assuring that the participants are the correct age for the given activity. “The Operator” will not be held responsible for any discrepancies in age no any loss, injury, disability, or death that may result from such discrepnacies.
